Encryption

All photos and videos uploaded to Megatech Photos are end-to-end encrypted on your device before they leave it. This means your files are encrypted using keys that only you control. We store only encrypted data on our servers, we do not hold your decryption keys and cannot access the contents of your files. Data is also encrypted in transit using TLS to protect against interception during transfer. Learn more how end-to-end encryption works.

Where your files are stored

Files uploaded to Megatech photos are securely stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in the United States. To improve speed and reliability, certain content may be temporarily cached through a global content delivery network with edge locations in regions such as Canada, the United States, Switzerland, and Australia. This helps ensure your photos and videos load quickly and remain accessible wherever you are.

Who can access your files

Your files belong to you. Only you can access the photos and videos stored in your account unless you choose to share them. Megatech photos does not publicly expose your files or allow other users to access them.

Administrator access

System administrators cannot browse, view, or decrypt user files. Because your files are end-to-end encrypted with keys we do not possess, no one at Megatech Photos, including system administrators, has the technical ability to access the contents of your stored photos and videos. Administrator access to internal systems is restricted to platform maintenance and infrastructure troubleshooting. When required by law, we can provide account-level information and metadata (such as email addresses, IP logs, and timestamps) but not the encrypted contents of your files.

Backups and data reliability

Storage systems are designed with redundancy to help protect against data loss. Backup mechanisms and infrastructure safeguards help ensure that your photos and videos remain available even in the event of server failures.

Our privacy commitment

Megatech Photos is designed with privacy as a core principle. Your photos and videos are end-to-end encrypted, meaning we do not have the technical ability to view, scan, sell, or share the contents of your files with anyone, including advertisers, third parties, or our own staff. Your files are only accessible by you, using your encryption keys, unless you choose to share them.
